
A small canine was rescued from the tracks after it ran underneath a prepare which was dropped at a halt yesterday afternoon.
At round 3pm the canine ran on to the tracks between Eltham and Kidbrooke railway stations and was pictured beneath one of many carriages of the Southeastern service from Dartford to London Victoria.
A response group from Community Rail was despatched to the scene in to soundly take away the canine.

The group managed to reunite the canine with its proprietor.
A spokeswoman for Southeastern mentioned: “We grew to become conscious of a canine on the tracks between Eltham and Kidbrooke at about 3pm yesterday, which sadly had gone into hiding beneath the 14:27 Dartford to London Victoria service.
“Network Rail response teams arrived on site and managed to safely lead the dog away from the tracks, ensuring there was a happy ending, with the dog now reunited with the owner.”
