Animal management officers in Bloomington are in search of assist from the general public to assist make room for dozens of dogs seized from an unauthorized breeder.
Bloomington Animal Care and Management is offering on-the-spot approval to folks keen to offer look after shelter dogs for one to 2 weeks.
Shelter officers say the general public may help by dropping off bedding on the entrances to their building on South Walnut Road at any time. Folks can even donate money within the early afternoons Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

The company says Bloomington police and Monroe County sheriff’s deputies helped seize 68 dogs and puppies from an unauthorized breeder on Friday.
A spokesperson for the Bloomington Police Division says the investigation is ongoing and officers haven’t made any arrests.
