
An image of a cat scuffling with stealth has delighted the web this week after gaining viral consideration.
Shared by u/bag-o-frogs on Monday, the picture on the favored subreddit r/aww has melted hearts and gained greater than 13,000 upvotes.
Alongside the caption: “Luna thinks she’s hiding,” the image reveals Luna the cat hiding behind a skinny veil curtain, paws poking from the underside, and face completely seen by means of the curtain.
Delighted by the picture, Reddit customers headed to the feedback to share their ideas.
“Too cute,” wrote one consumer. Whereas one other commenter stated: “I mean, she is hiding. Just not very well.”
Cats will often hide behind objects, lurking and able to pounce at a fellow feline, toy, and even their proprietor. Veterinary behaviorist Wailani Sung P.hD. wrote about this conduct for Vet Road in 2015 and stated: “The most common reason cats pounce on their owners are for play and attention. Typically cats who engage in this behavior hide behind a corner or furniture then suddenly jump out.”
Whereas it’s completely regular conduct, Sung does counsel that if the conduct has elevated in frequency or depth, it’s at all times a good suggestion to have your pet examined by a veterinarian to rule out any well being points. It’s true that the web loves a problem—and if it is available in cat kind, much more so. In March one picture had the internet obsessed as they tried to discover a hidden feline in a bed room after the image was shared on Twitter. “That is my Wordle,” joked one Twitter consumer as they tried to identify the sneaky cat.
