Purrfect Pause Cat Cafe, which goals to seek out adoptive households for rescue cats, has just lately opened its doorways in Boulder and final week noticed its first two profitable adoptions since opening earlier this month.

It’s a great way to get more exposure for our kitties.”

Talaro stated that the cafe’s work with Entrance Vary Freedom Rescue has made the cafe’s opening doable.

“I reached out to every cat rescue and shelter that I could,” Talaro stated. “The problem was that not enough people had enough cats to help us, until I contacted Front Range Freedom Rescue.”

Purrfect Pause has partnered with Rock Creek Veterinary Hospital to offer the care that rescues have to be prepared for adoption. The cats have already hung out with foster households, which Talaro stated helps in offering data to potential adopters.

“All of our cats are already very well socialized,” Talaro stated. “They come from families who have an idea of their personalities.”

The cafe’s first cat adoptions — Serena and Skully — happened Friday and Saturday. Now, the cafe has 14 cats out there for adoption and Kuzdek hopes to proceed bringing Entrance Vary Freedom Rescue cats to the cafe.

“It’s a great partnership and we really look forward to adopting out more cats this way,” Kuzdek stated.
